A Brown University researcher just built a disease-tracking dashboard for the FIFA World Cup 2026.
It maps every venue, hotel, fan zone, & team training site across North American host cities — & overlays infectious disease risk onto where crowds actually congregate. The insight isn’t the data. It’s the geography.
- Know where people are.
- Know when.
- Know where they came from. That’s the whole model
Now lets’s do what I do best- Mom’s Napkin Math-Brisbane 2032. 6 years until Australia lights the Olympic torch. A student who enrols in a degree in Australia today — graduates before the opening ceremony. That’s not a fact. That’s a build window.

Hackathon-level skills. Real-world stakes. Shout out to the Australian Universities that will support this idea.
